Exam!
10:05 PM
How time flies so fast? It is the ‘time’ of the semester,
EXAM! I encounter quite different experiences here, at Deakin.
Firstly, the ‘study week’ was just for three (3) days! What
do you think? Haha. Normally, this so called study week is the time when the
student start to ‘study’ the whole chapters of the subject, not ‘revise’.
Secondly, there’s slightly different with the exam timing. How?
Okay, I just done my first exam, so my sharing basically
only about my first paper, which is Human Social Behaviour. Oh! This is online
subject. Which mean, I did not attend class for this subject but I have to independently
study via the online lecture (read: video) which made earlier.
Back to the topic. Timing.
Normally, when the exam duration is 2 hours, once they say ‘you
can start now’, so you’ll grab your pencil/pen start to answer the questions. However,
such was different when there was ‘reading time’. Within 2 hours, 15 minutes
allocated for reading time in which we CAN NOT even hold our pencil/pen, JUST
READ the questions! You CAN NOT even fill in the form. You know, the details,
name, id.. Really like just go through all of the questions. After 15 minutes
of reading time had passed, they read the instructions for about 2 minutes, how
to fill in the form whatsoever, THEN ONLY we can grab our pencil/pen and
started to answer the question.
I find it weird.
So for Human Social Behavior exam consist of 120 multiple
questions (A,B,C,D) and had to be answered within 1 hour 43 minutes out of
total 2 hours. Lol. But for me, it went good, Alhamdulillah. it’s not that I’m complaining. But
just sharing my difference experience. Because from my experience, if it were
uni in Malaysia, when students just got in to the exam hall, some of them
had already started to fill in the form (I did as well), and even few tried to
answer the questions even they’re been told not to do so!
Okay, gotta ‘study’ for the next exam. catch up later!
