Whut whut.. Finally! My student visa has been granted. Alhamdulillah.
Of course it takes sometimes, since I have done it all by myself. Although there are options which is to make things easier by applying through agent.. but I decided to do it myself as I want to learnt and experience new things. Actually, the process was not that difficult. seriously. It just me who was quite overthinking things and over worried too. Yea, after all, it is my first time, going to this country. and I heard, the immigration is one of the most strict immigration in the world. The process was fine and smooth. Maybe someday I will update how to apply for the student visa. Especially to those who wanted to do it from A-Z by themselves and less relying to other people. It is a good way to learn.
When I get my visa done, I feel like 30% relief. The journey has yet long way to go. my biggest other concern is accommodation. So, visa is just like the second step; of course the first step is application to Uni and got accepted! These are the other things that I need to settle such as:
- Accommodation (housing)
this contribute.. I think 50% of my worried. Seriously there are so many things to consider why finding a house. It is even more difficult since I am not physically there to inspect the room. Furthermore, housing is the most expensive there compare to foods, transportation.. etc. and believe me, you would NOT want to convert it to RM, or else, you'll be homeless. haha.
- Flight
Okay, not so worried because I have so many options. it just depends on my preference. and of course if I buy at the last minute, the price.. (aha! you can tell me). but the things is, before I get the house sort out, or ATLEAST until I can find a TEMPORARY stays in a meanwhile looking for the permanent stay. Anyway, good to know there will airport pick up for free. whee~
- Registration & Orientation
People say, first day is always the worst. Even so, I am pretty much excited, hope for the best but prepare for the worst! Okay, before class commence date, firstly I need to get done the course registration and what not. After that, I have to attend the orientation week. I wish it will be fun.. hopefully I can quickly adapt and make a lots of friends.
Other than these, like classes, exploring and what not, I will just let it go with the flow. get things done one by one, so that at least if I am overthink thing, it should be over one thing at times. haha.
oh ya! one more thing, I prefer to work this on silence. Better this way, because if I let everyone knows then something happened which forbid me from going, then I gotta explain it to many people. It's even difficult if those people who are not really well understand my situation. So maybe, a week before my departure I will let people know?
Hopefully, everything will go smoothly.. as according to the plan.
