So I have got my flight arranged!
Actually, ever since I got the offer letter, I have
already survey for the flights ticket. Since it was back then in August (when I received the offer
letter), the flight ticket was pretty much cheaper compare to the date I
purchased the ticket. But.. by any means, ofcourse I would not buy the flight
ticket, since during that time I haven’t got my visa approved yet.
Tips: I use “skyscanner” to compare flights ticket & always clear your cookies // caches files.
I was planning to buy the ticket after my visa
application has been granted. But then.. again I need to postpone since my
other bigger concern is Acommodation. I have to make sure I secure a place to
stay, then only I buy the flight ticket.
After got my application to stay at Malaysian Hall
Melbourne (MHM) being approved last few days, then only I purchased the ticket
recently. Well, what to expected, after some delays ofcourse the price could not be as cheap as the first time I checked.
Dilema.
There are only three flights operator that offer
direct flight from Kuala Lumpur (KUL) to Melbourne Tullmarine Aiport (MEL)
which are; Malaysia Airlines (MAS), Airasia and Emirates. My dilemma was
between MAS and Emirates.
I wish to fly with Emirates though.
After considering departure and arrival time, MAS
suit me the best. Because it has night flight which depart at 10 pm and arrived
at 8 am. Compare to Emirates (direct flight) would be at 3 pm and arrived at 12
am (just merely assumption as what I can recall). It is not a good idea to be
arrived at 12 am since the time to check in at MHM is 2.00 pm and it also seemed not
nice to have aiport pick up at midnight.
So yeah, MAS suit me the best.
I know it is common experience to fly with MAS. However, this will be my first time travelling to Aus using MAS. I am looking forward to share my experience.
