January - June Updates!

Wow! It seems just like few weeks ago I posted my previous entry but the truth is, it has been almost 6 weeks. It so funny that how previously I said I will update frequently in this blog.
Summary of life events (January - June)
Speaking of life events, surely there are many things happened. Good and bad come in hands, well like always. but I prefer to see them as a factor to strengthen myself, to be a better person. Perhaps.
So basically, on my semester break (January - March) I spent my holidays by going for exchange program (volunteering work). It has been my passion being volunteer, help and hopefully to give impact to society! It was 6 weeks projects under AIESEC Global Citizen Program (GCP), by AIESEC UNIMAS. I went to Semarang, Indonesia. It was an Unexpected Journey and it had been so great that Worth for my life experience!
After I came back from Semarang, Indonesia, I continued my second semester of my 1st year bachelor degree in Cognitive Sciences. I bet you will be like "heck, what is that?! what is cognitive science?! it's sounds so alien!". Nah! don't worry I get that a lot! really! It's true it is not something famous unlike medicine, engineering courses, but if we see at other country especially America and Europe, this major is not something alien for them. I had few European friends, when I they asked bout my major, then I said, Cognitive Sciences and they're be like "ahh! study bout mind/ brain/ neuroscience. something like that, is it?" "Yeap! it is". Although they did not describe 100% correct, but at least they got idea of what is it.
CURRENTLY
By the time I am writing this; I am on my study week, preparing for my final exam which is going to happen next week; June 15 - 30. There are 7 papers awaiting for me out of 8 subjects (units) which I am taking this semester. All I can say.. "Oh yeah I just want this to end soon". It's not that the subjects are very difficult, there are fine. I like learning those. But I do think, this semester is not going well, in term of "external" and "environmental" factors.
Upcoming events?
Well, yeah, I do plan something for the nearest time being for this blog. actually 2 things!
I want to share my exchange experience! Because there were lot of people asking me on how to join the program, how to volunteer abroad, how this and that, when, what. too many questions. to be honest, I like those questions. I like them asking. It is even my pleasure to share my experience and help those people as much as I can.
Next, I would like to explain and give few information about my major; Bachelor in Science (Hons) Cognitive Sciences, since there are also a lot of people asking me, friends, relatives and even a junior that seek for information and advices regarding this course. because during my time before, I had no "senior" for me to seek an advice and informations, so I just discover it by myself. it's fun though! maybe on my updates on this; I'll be explaining bout what is cognitive science and even more specific which is studying Cognitive Science in UNIMAS. like what subject will you be taking, credit hour, so on and so forth.
So far only this two things I am planning to have updated. Because even it not that much, but I hope it could help those, whose looking for the information and been asking me bout this. So let's wait for the updates. since I am slowly working on it! and the purpose I am posting thing as well as a promise to myself to get those "check list" updated!
That's all from me, wish for me do well in my final exam, so that I can go back to KL happily! whee~
