Prospective Supervisor

I just found something that completely blown my mind. The prospective professor who's I'm going to work with - my supervisor for my internship attachment is an expert in L2 processing. Happen to be, that is related to my research topic for my final year project that I'm currently work on. I mean out of wide options research area that possibly could be in cognitive science, he happened to be an expert in L2, my FYP & my area of interest... you get it?
Somehow, I get all excited to nailed my FYP, who knows I could possibly apply for postgrad degree if things work well.
Coincidence? No, I don't think so.
